The 2017 Super Bowl game will kick off on Monday, February 6, at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. As excited as football fans are to watch the game, many are even more excited to see the commercials that will be aired. Companies reportedly pay millions of dollars for a 30-second commercial slot during the show.
This year, two Israeli technologies will be featured in Super Bowl commercials. Intel will be showing off its breakthrough 360 replay technology not only in a commercial featuring four-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady but also during the game broadcast in order to show the player’s point of view from the field. The commercial featuring Brady was already released by Intel over the Internet.

Last year, Intel bought Replay Technologies, an Israeli startup, for a reported $175 million, which helped the technology giant move forward with its 360-degree dream. Replay Technologies was founded in 2011 by three Israelis. In 2014, Fast Company named it one of the top 10 most innovative companies in sports.
Many people are waiting to see the commercial that Wix, the free website development company founded in Israel, is going to show off this year. For the past two years, Wix has impressed viewers with the company’s creative super bowl commercials. Wix’s commercial last year featured the cast of Kung Fu Panda. In 2015, Wix’s commercial featured five former NFL stars.
