Pot-smoking Israelis gathered in Jerusalem on Thursday to mark an annual pro-marijuana event known worldwide as 420, after the date on which it takes place.
The event is considered an act of protest against laws prohibiting the use of marijuana, and is held annually on April 20.
Last month, the Israeli government approved a policy of decriminalization for recreational use of marijuana, though the organizers of the event are still calling for full legalization.
“Whether they (MKs) like it or not, cannabis isn’t going anywhere and it’s right under their window, so they’d better start getting used to it,” the organizers wrote in the event’s Facebook page.
