After hours of searching, the body of 18-year-old Lian Nasser, the young Israeli who was missing since the Istanbul New Year’s Eve terror attack last night (Saturday), was found. The young girl’s family has been notified. Meanwhile, one of Nasser’s friends is still in a Turkish hospital in moderate condition.
Nasser’s aunt told Channel 2 Online shortly before the body was located: “She traveled through an organized tour. They were at the nightclub when it happened. We were in contact with her until 11:00 PM. She told us that everything was fine and that it’s really pretty there.”

Nasser and three of her friends were at the Reina Club last night when the terrorist who was dressed up as Santa Claus murdered 39 people and injured about 70 others. “We are determined to defeat the source of the threats and attacks,” said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan following the terror attack. “These attacks are not isolated events, they are part of a development in the region and were designed in order to create chaos in the country.”
