Despite working for the White House, US President Donald Trump’s 35-year-old daughter Ivanka stated in an interview with Fox News that she “tries to stay out of politics.” Ivanka also discussed her family’s new life and summarized her father’s presidency so far.
“His political instincts are phenomenal,” she said about Trump. “He did something that no one could have imagined he would be able to accomplish. I feel blessed just being part of the ride from day one and before…I don’t profess to be a political savant.”
When asked to grade her father so far, Ivanka didn’t hesitate to give Trump an ‘A’. “I think he’s doing an amazing job…When you think about the security in this country, when you think about the policies being put in place to support the American worker, when you see what’s happening in the stock market-it’s thriving. Small business owners across this country are feeling a renewed sense of optimism and vigor and spirit.”
The president’s daughter explained that her children don’t really understand their grandfather’s importance. “They call Air Force One the ‘candy plane’ because there is lots of M&M’s and trays of candy,” she said. “They always exit the plane a lot more hyper and on sugar high…It’s almost no controlling it.”
