Although American Jewish comedian Jerry Seinfeld flew to Israel in order to perform two shows in Tel Aviv, he decided to extend his trip and visit some unique spots in the country. Yesterday (Monday), Seinfeld and his family visited the Israeli Air Force’s (IAF) 199th Squadron at the Mitzpe Ramon airbase in southern Israel.
During their visit, the Seinfeld family learned about some of the squadron’s activities and heard the life story of a female navigator serving in the operational squadron. Later on, the family saw some of Israel’s F-16I fighter jets at one of the squadron’s lines. The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated that Seinfeld noted that his visit to the airbase was a very significant experience for him.
