Today (Saturday), journalist Hadas Shtaif accused former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of sexual harassment: “Many years ago, he put me up against a wall, whispered something and licked my ear.” Olmert denied the accusation.

Shtaif said that over the years, she was sexually harassed by 40 people. “I remember each of them,” she said. “I did not complain at the time because I was afraid they would call me a serial complainant. There are many testimonies on my desk that I will reveal in the coming days, even of people whose names have not yet been mentioned.”

“Everything is true,” she later tweeted. “I told a lot of people at the time. I was disgusted. I didn’t forget. That’s why I believe all the women who dare to speak out after 30 years. We’re in a middle of a revolution…We won’t be scared and won’t hide even at the price of personal attacks. It’s a price I’m willing to pay for the new generation.”
