Today (Monday), Kahlon called on the government to accept the current military aid package the US is offering. “The proposal is positive and just,” claimed Kahlon. “There’s no reason for us to make moves that will be interpreted as an intervention in America’s internal affairs.”

“I told the Prime Minister and Defense Minister and I also say to them today: Accept the proposal and put an end to this saga with the current government,” added Kahlon at a meeting with his political party members. “The security forces can definitely make do with the current proposal.”

“The US is our most important strategic ally, a real friend and it should be treated this way,” stressed Kahlon. “Accepting the US aid package, along with the multiyear budget we approved for the first time in years, will give the IDF a significant strategic advantage and will allow it to be prepared for any scenario.”
