The Yesh Atid party is pleased with the results of the mandate survey published last night by Channel 2 News. The survey indicated that Yesh Atid is tied with the Likud with 25 mandates. Yesh Atid Knesset faction chairman MK Ofer Shelah spoke at a conference in Modi’in, saying he believes that Yair Lapid will replace Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Yesterday (Friday), a survey was published that suggested that if the elections were held today, the Likud and Yesh Atid would both get 25 mandates. Yesh Atid Knesset faction chairman MK Ofer Shelah said he is pleased with the results and believes that Yair Lapid is the only possible alternative to Netanyahu.
During a conference in Modi’in, Shelah said that his political party provides the public an “alternative government.” Shelah went on and said that he believes “Lapid will be prime minister.” Shelah also said that there has to be “an alternative government that reflects the feelings of the public, 60% of which wants a change in leadership.”

The survey that was conducted by Mano Geva and Dr. Mina Tzemah shows that Yesh Atid and the Likud are tied for 25 mandates. Yesh Atid keeps taking votes from the Zionist Union, which still falters under the leadership of Opposition leader MK Isaac Herzog.
