Israel’s Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Thursday visited a defense technology factory in Sderot and played down concerns about the growing tension along the Gaza border.

“We know what to do, how to do it and when,” Lieberman said. “I hope the residents of Gaza force their leaders to invest their efforts and money in improving their economy rather than digging tunnels, making rockets and shooting at Israel.”

Lieberman also claimed that the recent upsurge of rocket fire is connected to “inner battles between the different Palestinian organizations.”
