British authorities yesterday (Monday) released two of the three terrorists’ names and photographs from the London Bridge terror attack, which occurred this past Saturday. The two terrorists are Khuram Shazad Butt and Rachid Redouane, both of whom are London residents.

According to local law enforcement, 27-year-old Butt was known by police and intelligence officials. His friend even reported him to officials after he saw inciting videos online and that Butt had spread the videos’ messages to children at a local park two years ago, promising them money and candy.

“There was no intelligence to suggest that this attack was being planned and the investigation had been prioritized accordingly,” local police stated. Furthermore, local security forces reported that the second terrorist, 30-year-old Redouane, was not known by law enforcement and he claimed to be of Moroccan and Libyan origin. The third terrorist’s identity is still being confirmed.
