A 22-year-old was charged today (Sunday) with possession of dozens of grams of heroin, the synthetic cannabinoid known in Israel as “Nice Guy” and cannabis plants. The arrest of the suspect was caught on tape.

A 22-year-old man was charged with large-scale drug possession today (Sunday) after being caught by police with 50 grams of heroin inside his scooter.
The arrest of the suspect was recorded on camera. In the footage, police are seen swarming around the driver as he stood with this scooter at a junction. It shows police arresting the man while others search his vehicle and then find a bag of the drug hidden deep within the scooter’s carriage section.
The arrest took place two weeks ago as part of an undercover drug-trafficking investigation initiated by the Israel Police.
Following the arrest, the police conducted a search of the man’s home in Lod. During the search, the officers found around 80 grams of the synthetic cannabinoid known in Israel as “Nice Guy” as well as six cannabis plants. Today (Sunday), the indictment against the suspect was filed at the Rishon LeZion Magistrate’s Court.
