Eight women are accusing veteran Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman of inappropriate behavior and sexual harassment, CNN reported Thursday.

One of them, who worked as a production assistant on a 2015 comedy film starring Freeman, said the actor had repeatedly touched her without her consent and made comments about her figure. In one incident, she said, Freeman “kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear.”

Another woman said Freeman sexually harassed her and her assistant on the set of a 2012 film. “He did comment on our bodies,” she recounted. “We knew that if he was coming by … not to wear any top that would show our breasts, not to wear anything that would show our bottoms, meaning not wearing clothes that (were) fitted.”

Several other people reported witnessing Freeman behaving in a way that made women uncomfortable around him.

Freeman, 80, has starred in films such as The Shawshank Redemption, Driving Miss Daisy and Street Smart. His appearance on Million Dollar Baby in 2004 landed him an Academy Award.
