Since last night, a series of violent incidents coming from both Jews and Palestinians took place in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
A mother and her daughter were slightly injured on Friday by stones thrown at them near the Migdalim settlement. They fled the Palestinian rioters by driving in the other direction.
Palestinian rioters threw burning tires in Hebron today. No injuries were reported in the incident. Riots took place also in the vicinity of Rachel’s Tomb in the West Bank. Some 200 Palestinians threw stones and Molotov cocktails as well as burned tires.
Clashed erupted today also in Jerusalem. A 20-year-old Border Police officer was slightly injured by stones near the Lions’ Gate in the Old City. He was taken to the Hadassah Hospital in Ein Karem. He suffered a head injury but his condition is stable.
Earlier today, the police arrested a 25-year-old man from East Jerusalem who is suspected of attempting to injure a Border Police Force member operating in the Old City.
These violent incidents have been taking place since last night following the terror attack near Itamar. Last night, a Molotov cocktail was thrown at an IDF vehicle in a Salafi village in Samaria. No one was injured in the incident. Also last night, a Palestinian vehicle was set on fire near Ramallah and “Henkin Revenge” was spray-painted on a house wall. In addition, settlers threw stones at the car of the Palestinian Intelligence Commander in Hebron. He was slightly injured and evacuated to a Nablus hospital.
