Over 100,000 people came to the home stadium of the Chapecoense soccer team in Chapeco, Brazil. The team lost nearly all of its members in the plane crash in Colombia. Only 3 players survived the disaster.

Today (Saturday), a memorial service is taking place in the home stadium of the Chapecoense soccer team in Chapeco, Brazil, to commemorate those who were killed in the plane crash on Monday. Over 100,000 people came to honor the 51 players and staff members of the local soccer team and to share their condolences with their families.

The entire stadium was filled with flowers and letters to the players. Brazilian President Michel Temer waited for the coffins’ arrival at the airport. In the disaster, 71 people were killed.
