Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah warned on Saturday that “hundreds of thousands of fighters” would assist Syria or Lebanon in the case of a future war with Israel.

In a television interview, Nasrallah said that although other Muslim countries “wouldn’t necessarily join the war formally,” many of its soldiers would choose to fight alongside Syria or Lebanon.

“The Israeli enemy must know that a front with Syria or Lebanon would not remain solely an Israeli-Syrian or Israeli-Lebanese war,” Nasrallah said. “Such a scenario would open the door for hundreds of thousands of fighters from Muslim countries around the world who would join the fight.”
