During a televised speech marking the 11th anniversary of the end of the Second Lebanon War, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah warned Israel against engaging in another war in southern Lebanon. “Hezbollah is much more sophisticated – sophisticated in every aspect- capabilities, military strategies and in numbers,” he said.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah delivered a speech Sunday, marking the 11th anniversary of the end of the Second Lebanon War. During his speech, he called on Israel’s leaders to evacuate the nuclear facility in Dimona. “After they took care of the ammonia tanks, we expect them to reevaluate the nuclear plant in Dimona,” he said. “It is more dangerous than the ammonia tanks in Haifa.”
Nasrallah warned Israel against a future conflict in southern Lebanon. “Ever since 2006, Hezbollah has been growing stronger,” he claimed. “Hezbollah is much more sophisticated – sophisticated in every aspect- capabilities, military strategies and in numbers.” The leader of the Lebanese Shi’ite terrorist group added that any force that enters southern Lebanon at the moment will encounter a force 100-times stronger than before.
Nasrallah also addressed the Israeli claims that his organization is working together with environmental protection groups in a way that violates the ceasefire agreement, accusing Israel of being the one that is defying the agreement. “Israel is complaining to Lebanon about a tree that is near the border and that reflects how badly it fears Hezbollah,” he said. “Drones infiltrate the skies of Lebanon every day and every hour. That’s not a violation, but a young Lebanese citizen from Hezbollah or not from Hezbollah who is standing on the border and looking at Palestine is a violation [of UNSC Resolution] 1701? To whom can we complain? We have been complaining to the UN Security Council for 60 years and not gained anything from it.”
“The Israelis are talking about the certain and unequivocal high costs of every war and that is why [their] victory is questionable,” Nasrallah added. “This is what prevents Israel from attacking Lebanon now and in the future and that’s what is turning our borders and the valleys near us into safe areas. We need to maintain this power.”
Earlier today, the Lebanese media outlet Al-Manar, which is affiliated with the terrorist group, reported that Hezbollah is claiming that it found an Israeli espionage device on the Barouk Mountain, which is located in the Beqaa Valley near Lake Qaraoun. The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit refused to comment on the matter, stating that it does not address foreign reports.
