The leader of the Lebanese terrorist organization said that if Hezbollah becomes weak, Israel will take advantage of the situation and wage war. “The support for Hezbollah in Lebanon protects the Lebanese from war,” he stated.

“If Hezbollah would have power in Lebanon, it would discourage Israel from starting a war,” proclaimed Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah during a speech commemorating the anniversary of Imad Mughniyah’s elimination. Nasrallah also claimed that the court order demanding that a Haifa ammonia tank be emptied is “evidence of our [Hezbollah’s] strength.”

Nasrallah threatened that if another war with Israel begins, Hezbollah will aim its missiles at the Dimona nuclear reactor and ammonia tanks throughout the country: “Israel knows that we can turn the nuclear reactor in Dimona from a threat to us to a threat to Israel with our missiles.” According to Nasrallah, Hezbollah is capable of turning “Israel’s top weapon into a threat to the Israeli citizens themselves.”

“If Hezbollah becomes weak, Israel will see this as an opportunity for war,” he continued. “The support for Hezbollah in Lebanon protects the Lebanese from war.”

Earlier this week, JOL reported that Nasrallah spoke out against U.S. President Donald Trump by saying that “a fool sits in the White House.”
