Several days after the wave of arson attacks in Israel, new details are emerging regarding the reason that some of the fires broke out. Today (Wednesday), the Fire and Rescue Services in Jerusalem announced that the investigation of the Nataf fire that occurred last Friday was most likely started when a Molotov cocktail that was thrown from one of the nearby villages. 1 Palestinian was arrested for suspicion of the arson attack.
After the Molotov cocktail was thrown, the strong winds caused the fire to spread quickly to the nearby settlements, destroying hundreds of acres of woods and fires until reaching Nataf, where it destroyed a famous local restaurant.
