Within the next few days, Netanyahu is expected to be questioned once again by police investigators about his ties to Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Arnon (Noni) Mozes. It is suspected that the two struck a deal that would benefit both parties. Police investigators apparently have two hour-long recordings from two different meetings between Netanyahu and Mozes.

Yesterday evening (Monday), Channel 2 News revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to be questioned for the third time by police investigators in the near future. However, it is unclear exactly when the questioning will take place. On Sunday, JOL reported that Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Arnon (Noni) Mozes is the businessman who allegedly discussed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu striking a deal that would benefit both parties. Yedioth Ahronoth is the Israeli newspaper that owns and operates Ynetnews. According to Channel 2 News, the two met a while ago and discussed a deal that would harm Yedioth Ahronoth’s rival Israel Hayom in exchange for positive coverage of Netanyahu.

The Israel Police obtained at least two hour-long recordings of two meetings between Mozes and Netanyahu. The meetings took place in the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem. One of the meetings took place before the Knesset was dissolved on December 1, 2014. The second meeting took place after the Knesset was dissolved.

Netanyahu was first questioned under caution regarding his connections with Arnon Milchan and the alleged gifts and favors he accepted from him. In addition, police questioned Netanyahu about his ties to Australian billionaire James Packer. The first questioning was apparently focused on Packer hosting Netanyahu son, Yair, in his home.

Netanyahu was again questioned a few days later about his ties to Mozes. This interrogation lasted five hours. During the questioning, Netanyahu did not listen to the tapes that the police investigators possess. However, he saw parts of the recordings’ transcripts and was asked to comment on the statements made during the conversations between the two.
