After Donald Trump has been inaugurated as US President, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked Israeli Education Minister Naftali Bennett to postpone the vote on the bill to apply Israeli sovereignty over Maale Adumim until an orderly discussion could be held on the issue.
Netanyahu tweeted a message today to the Iranian people and stated that one of the issues facing US President Donald Trump is Iran. Bennett responded quickly and stated that preventing the establishment of another Iran in the West Bank is no less important. In the background of this discussion, associates of the US President asked not to be surprised by unilateral steps.
Channel 2 Reporter Udi Segal learned that Bennett, who recently has been trying to hold a discussion on applying Israeli sovereignty over Maale Adumim, agreed to review the matter after a discussion will be held on the subject tomorrow.
I hope this message reaches every Iranian—young and old, religious and secular, man and woman. pic.twitter.com/ieC2Aajmzl
