Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to shorten his stay in Washington after a rocket launched from Gaza directly hit a house today in central Israel north of Tel Aviv injuring 7 including infants

The Israeli leader was in the country to participate in the summit of the pro-Israeli organization AIPAC, where he was to deliver a speech.

Netanyahu will return to the country immediately after his meeting with US President Donald Trump today..

According to reports in the Israeli press, in this meeting the US president will sign the presidential order to formalize his country’s recognition of Israeli sovereignty in the Golan Heights.

In a press release, the Israeli president informed that he will return to Israel after his meeting with Trump “in view of the cruel attack against the State of Israel” and warned that his country “will respond with force”.

This is the 1st time in 4 years that a Gazan rocket reached the Tel Aviv area.
