The Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs has published a new report which brings to light the Palestinians’ growing use of children and teenagers for propaganda purposes, citing the case of 16-year-old Ahed Tamimi, who became an internet sensation after being filmed assaulting IDF officers in a viral video.

A report by the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs raises concern over the Palestinians’ growing use of children for propaganda purposes.

The report acknowledges the fact that Ahed Tamimi, 16, the Palestinian teenager who was filmed assaulting IDF soldiers in a viral video last month, has since become increasingly popular and is being used as a symbol by pro-Palestinian and pro-BDS groups.

It also mentions another Palestinian child by the name of Janna Jihad, 11, a well-known social media personality whose videos show her confronting IDF soldiers, often to the point of verbal assault.

The report urges the Israeli authorities to look into whether these children and others are being funded by anti-Israeli bodies.
