Several Israeli nature reserves were flooded with visitors today, especially in Northern Israel, after 150,000 Israelis left their homes in order to enjoy the pleasant weather conditions and Israel’s wonderful outdoor nature attractions. This week will bring more sun and heat to the country.

The warm spring weather motivated thousands of Israelis to leave their homes and explore Israel’s wonderful nature reserves today (Saturday). During the first Saturday of April, 150,000 Israelis visited the country’s nature reserves and national parks.

According to the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, today’s extremely popular attractions were Masada National Park, Ashkelon National Park, Caesarea National Park and the Banyas Nature Reserve. In addition, around 1,500 people slept overnight in the authority’s different camping grounds located throughout Israel.
