Yesterday, Israel and the Jewish world have begun to celebrate Hanukkah. This year, Tel Aviv will host a number of exciting events with a variety of activities.

Between the 14th and the 16th of December, the Neve Sha’anan neighborhood will celebrate the holiday with dozens of concerts, light shows, tours and food offerings. The entrance to the events will be free and take place during the evenings.

If you are looking for an interesting new place to experience the lighting of the candles, you will find what you are looking for in Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square, Sarona, Hatachana Complex and Habima Square every day at 6PM, Friday at 3:45PM and Saturday at 7:30PM.

Visitors can find the world’s largest Hanukkiah, which consists of 5,000 LED bulbs, at the Tel Aviv Port. The 6-meter-tall Hanukkiah will display live selfie pictures that visitors can upload on their personal Instagram account using the #PORTTLV.
