If you’re a fan of Hummus, you might be interested to know there is an actual holiday celebrating its existence. Every year on May 13, lovers of the Levantine dip mark International Hummus Day.
Started in 2012, the holiday features special deals on Hummus in many restaurants that serve it across the United States. There are also events outside of the US, including, of course, Israel, where Hummus is practically a national symbol.
You can find out everything about this special day, including exact locations of deals, on its official website.
