The new marked route exposes natural springs and streams which have been hidden from the public’s eye until recently when the Jewish National Fund mapped out the area and made it accessible to tourists and nature-lovers.

The route was named in memory of Captain Tzvika Kaplan, a Golani Brigade officer who was killed in battle in Shuja’iyya during last summer’s Operation Protective Edge.
