Rain, thunderstorms and hail is expected to continue throughout the country. Snow began to fall on Mount Hermon and will continue spreading north. As of this morning, schools are functioning as usual in the northern, wintery regions of Israel.
The Mount Hermon ski resort reported that temperatures reached -3 degrees Celsius and that they are looking forward to the snow continuing to fall.
All traffic routes headed towards the Hermon site are blocked off and the Hermon ski site is still closed at the moment.
