The city of Tel Aviv will be hosting a variety of events and activities during the holiday of Purim in the coming weekend. So if you’re staying in Israel over the holiday, here’s the ultimate list of things to choose from. And don’t forget to wear a costume!
Purim Adventures at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art
On February 28, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., The Tel Aviv Museum of Art will feature workshops for children, including self-portrait, landscape painting and mask making.
Yafo Purim Carnival
On March 1, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., there will be various family-friendly attractions at Davidoff Park, including a mini amusement park and workshops such as juggling and balloon making. No entrance fee.
Purim at “Hatachana” Tel Aviv’s Old Railway Station
On March 1 and March 3, starting at 10:00 a.m., the city’s old railway station will become a giant Purim fair featuring art activities, games and performances by a magician and a hip-hop band. No entrance fee.
Purim Street Party
On March 2, between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Tel Aviv’s annual Purim party will be held at Kikar Hamedina, with leading DJs and performances by many popular singers and bands. No entrance fee.
70s Disco Party in Givon Square
On March 3, starting at 12:00 p.m., parents and children are invited to take part in a nostalgic tribute to the hits of the 70s. No entrance fee.
