The first rain of the year hit central Israel on Sunday, with some places in the north also getting drizzles. The rain is expected to continue throughout the day in these locations.
The Israel Meteorological Service said the rain, which began around noon along the coastline and near Ben Gurion Airport, may even reach the northern Negev during Sunday night. It is expected to weaken tomorrow until disappearing completely.
