The Palestinian Authority is expected to demand the implementation of a one-state solution with equal rights for all, i24news reported on Sunday.

The Palestinian Central Council is meeting in Ramallah on Sunday to determine what strategy to take following US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Several Palestinian leaders have said the Trump’s move has buried the hopes for a two-state solution.

Last week, Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Secretary-General Saeb Erekat hinted the policy shift by stating that the meeting of the Palestinian Central Council is expected to produce “fateful” decisions for the future of the Palestinians.
