The Palestinian Health Ministry says at least 10 Palestinians were injured during clashes with Israeli security forces on Thursday near Bethlehem, two of whom are in critical condition.
According to reports, seven of the injured Palestinians were hit by gunfire and three by rubber bullets.
“During an IDF activity in the Deheishe refugee camp, violent riots were instigated as rioters threw firebombs and rocks at the troops,” an IDF spokesperson said according to the Times of Israel. “In response to the immediate threat, IDF troops used riot dispersal means and fired toward the main instigators.”
