Hamas has set up tents near the Gaza Strip border fence in preparation for Friday’s “march of the million,” in which hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are expected to march to the fence.
The terrorist group, which is organizing the mass demonstration, has also supplied large water containers to allow protesters to remain in the area for an extended period of time.
Meanwhile, Palestinian media has reported that about 150 people were involved in clashes with IDF forces in two locations near the fence. The IDF responded with riot control measures.
On Sunday, JOL reported that Israeli Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz suggested that Israel drop food and medicine from the sky during the march in order to lure the protesters away from the border.
