Today, following the car ramming attack in Gush Etzion, IDF forces encircled the 17-year-old terrorist’s home village of Halhul. Meanwhile, his family was brought in for questioning.

Following the terrorist car ramming attack in Gush Etzion this morning (Friday), IDF forces have encircled the 17-year-old Palestinian terrorist’s home village of Halhul, in order to prevent additional potential terrorists from leaving the village. Meanwhile, the terrorist’s family was brought in for questioning.

Over the past several hours, a number of senior-level IDF commanders arrived at the scene of the attack and spoke to the soldiers on the ground. The commanders commended the force’s quick response and neutralization of the terrorist.

The terrorist rammed his car into two Israelis in two different intersections in Gush Etzion. One of the victims was severely injured while the other victim suffered only minor injuries. He then exited the vehicle with a knife and was shot and critically wounded by IDF soldiers.
