A young Palestinian man was killed Friday during violent riots in Hebron. The Palestinian Authority’s official news site Wafa has identified the man as 24-year-old Mohammad Zain al-Jabari.

According to the IDF troops who were at the scene, al-Jabari was shot because he was about to throw a Molotov cocktail at them. The IDF has opened an investigation into the incident.

Last week, a Palestinian fisherman from Gaza was shot and killed by an Israeli Navy patrol after his boat traveled beyond the designated fishing zone off the Gaza shores. On Thursday, Israel’s High Court issued a temporary injunction preventing the state from returning the fisherman’s body.
