The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit has released a video on Twitter showing Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar boasting about his organization’s relations with Hezbollah and Iran in an interview.

“Our relations with our brothers in Hezbollah are excellent and evolving extraordinarily well…Our relations are at their peak,” Sinwar said. Regarding Iran, he added: “Our relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the brothers led by the Quds force and our brother Qassem Soleimani, are strong, good and warm. We are sure that with the help of Allah, the creator of worlds, the objectors will stand on a united front.”

Iran’s ties to Hamas made headlines last week when it was cleared for publication that the Shin Bet discovered that Tehran has been transferring funds to the Gaza-based terrorist group to support the violent protests along the Israeli-Gaza border. Iran’s ties to the violent clashes were uncovered during a Shin Bet investigation in which several Gazans who crossed the border into Israel were questioned.
