The epicenter was north of the city of Dahab on the Red Sea in the Sinai Peninsula. The earthquake was 4.8 magnitude and was also felt in Eilat and Aqaba. There were no reports of injuries or damage.

An earthquake was felt this morning in the city of Eilat. The center of the earthquake was deep in the Sinai, where it was measured as a 4.8 magnitude earthquake.

The American Seismology Institute reported that the epicenter was about 25 kilometers northeast of the city of Dahab on the Red Sea.  As a result, it was also felt in Eilat and Aqaba.

In the Sinai, there were also no reports of injuries or damage. Also in Eilat and Aqaba, there were no reports of injuries or heavy damage as the earthquake was felt lightly.
