Ron Yitzhak Kokia, the IDF soldier who was murdered in Arad last week, will be laid to rest today (Sunday) in the military section of Tel Aviv’s Kiryat Shaul cemetery. “How can we manage to breathe without you,” his sister, Shani Kokia Tal, wrote in a Facebook post.

“Ron, my love, my prince, how can we continue to live after such a tragedy?” she continued. “How can I give strength to mom and dad, [to] Dor and Noy, when my heart is bleeding? Every time I close my eyes, I picture you in your last moments, alone, so helpless, fighting in your last breaths to call for help, bleeding to your death. God, where are you? Save him from this horror! Someone needs to wake me up from this nightmare! Please!”

Kokia was found lying at a bus station across from a shopping center in the city while the terrorist who stabbed him in the upper half of his body fled the scene. Police officers are still looking for the terrorist. According to the initial report, Kokia ran into the street when the terrorist fled. An Israeli driver who did not notice Kokia accidentally hit him. The driver was injured and called the emergency services to the scene.
