After the evacuation of Amona last week, the Israeli Supreme Court ruled this morning (Tuesday) that dozens of buildings that were illegally built on land near Kfar Tapuach in the West Bank need to be evacuated. The ruling comes after Palestinian landowners claimed that the buildings were built on their land.

According to the Israeli Supreme Court judges’ decision, the buildings will be evacuated by June 2018. The judges agreed that the buildings were built on privately owned Palestinian land, just as the petitioners claimed in 2010.

As reported on Sunday by JOL, the Israeli Supreme Court decided that the evacuation of 9 buildings in Ofra will be postponed. “We hope that when the evacuation date arrives, the residents will peacefully leave,” stated the Israeli Supreme Court president.
