The monster returns: After extensive upgrading works carried out by the Jerusalem municipality, it finally completed the renovation – the famous monster garden is available for visitors once again.

The famous garden in Kiryat Yovel, dubbed “Monster Park” because of a facility that has the shape of a terrifying monster. The renovation included the building of new trails, making the gardens more accessible, new plants, new lighting installed, new playground equipment, Fountains, garden furniture, modern tables and benches.

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, announced the completion of the work: “The monster park is one of the symbols of the city of Jerusalem and an important social center. Creative planning and substantial funding were invested in the garden I wish the residents and the kids to enjoy the refurbished garden that will continue to serve as a symbol for many years “.

The renovations were made by Moria company in collaboration with teachers and the local community center, along with architect Haim Lutner.
