The mother of a fallen Israeli soldier whose body is being held captive by Hamas sent a special message to the residents of Gaza, begging them to demand the return of her son’s body. “Don’t be hostages of the Hamas terrorist group,” she said. “Humanitarianism and humanity must be reciprocal.”

On the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories’ Arabic-language Facebook page last night (Tuesday), Israel explained that it decided to accept the Palestinian Authority’s request to restore the power supply to Gaza due to “humanitarian considerations.” The post included a special message from Leah Goldin, the mother of a fallen Israeli soldier whose body is being held captive by Hamas in Gaza.

“Residents of Gaza, mothers, fathers and children, the kidnapping of bodies is an act that is unacceptable, inhumane and unhumanitarian,” she said, according to Israel News Network. “Every mother wants to visit her son’s grave and not returning Hadar Goldin for a burial is considered a crime in Islam. The cynical use of bodies contradicts the human conscience. Don’t be hostages of the Hamas terrorist group. Humanitarianism and humanity must be reciprocal.”
