Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was rushed to hospital on Tuesday evening after suffering from cough and a high fever.
He will undergo a series of tests meant to rule out pneumonia, after which doctors will decide whether to release him or keep him under supervision for the night.
Netanyahu came down with the flu last week, which forced the police to postpone a planned questioning session. Netanyahu’s personal doctor estimated that the prime minister has not fully completed his recovery period, and therefore his flu symptoms have worsened.
