While addressing journalists on Tuesday during a security briefing, Israel Police Chief Roni Alsheikh said that there is no need to worry ahead of the Passover holiday. “The scenario on the eve of the holiday this year is no different than any other year,” he said. “There are currently no unusual warnings about attacks during the Passover holiday.”

“There should be no fear of Land Day events in Israel,” he stated, adding that during the past 15 years, there were no exceptional events on Land Day and “no change is expected this year.”

According to Alsheikh, “The eve of the holiday is no different from the rest of the year, and for the most part, plans to carry out attacks are not being implemented.”
