A deadly car crash involving an Israeli family and Palestinians took place on Tuesday evening, likely due to weather conditions. Two Israeli children and one Palestinian were killed in the crash near Shavei Shomron.

On Tuesday evening, a car crash between an Israeli family and Palestinians resulted in the death of a 13-year-old girl, her 8-year-old brother and a Palestinian near Shavei Shomron in the West Bank. Sources indicate that the cause of the crash was due to severe weather conditions. Israeli and Palestinian paramedic teams and the IDF arrived quickly at the scene.

The 13-year-old girl, identified as Ori Lipnik, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 8-year-old brother, identified as Roee Lipnik, was airlifted to Kfar Saba’s Meir Hospital and succumbed to his injuries. Fatkhi Abd al-Karim Abu Shanab was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The wounded Palestinians were taken to a hospital in Tulkarm.

Magen David Adom emergency services stated that 11 people were injured in the crash, including the four family members of the Israeli siblings who were killed and four Palestinians who were in the second car.
