A Palestinian teenager armed with a knife was arrested on Friday afternoon near the entrance to the Israeli settlement of Hashmonaim. The teenager, a Bil’in resident, has been taken in for questioning and no injuries were reported.

Earlier today, Israeli Border Police troops arrested a 23-year-old Palestinian man who was hiding a knife in his sock near the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron. The initial investigation into the incident suggests that the Palestinian was planning to carry out a terror attack at the site. This was the sixth foiled terror attack at the Cave of the Patriarchs since the beginning of the year.

On Monday, 29-year-old Itamar Ben-Gal was murdered by an Israeli Arab in the West Bank city of Ariel. Ben-Gal, a father of four, was a rabbi and a resident of Har Bracha. Hundreds of people, including Knesset speaker Yuli Edelstein, attended Ben-Gal’s funeral on Tuesday.
