Today (Wednesday), the Israeli National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA) warned of a phishing attack directed at the senior management of Israel’s top companies. The goal of the attack is to steal information from the companies.
The attack consists of an email that is sent with a link to a fake website, where the victim is prompted to enter email account login information. The first phase of the attack targets the senior management. After that, an email is sent to the entire mailing list with a finance-related title such as “approved invoice” or “transfer of funds.”
