Israeli security forces found six Molotov cocktails near Itamar after scanning the area following the detection of two terrorists on Sunday evening. Security forces also seized home-manufactured firearms and 18 suspects were arrested in overnight raids in the West Bank.

IDF forces found six Molotov cocktails near the West Bank settlement of Itamar in overnight searches in the area on Sunday. The explosives were found near the spot where the two terror suspects were detected on Sunday evening.
Security forces also seized home-manufactured firearms in raids in the Palestinian city of Jenin on Sunday night. Furthermore, 18 suspects were arrested for terror involvement and violence against civilians and security forces.
On Sunday, security forces arrested a 27-year-old terrorist from al-Khadar for planting a bomb near a Gush Etzion road in the West Bank in June. During his interrogation, the terrorist admitted to wanting “to hurt IDF soldiers.” The Israel Police filed papers at the Ofer Military Court and the terrorist’s detention was extended by five days. In a statement, the Israel Police said that it continues to work with the IDF and other security forces to thwart any and all terrorist attacks in the area.
