Israel attacked a military airport near Damascus early Wednesday morning, various reports are claiming, citing Syrian opposition sources. The alleged strike targeted a Hezbollah arms base at the airport.

Neither Syria nor Israel has commented on the report, which comes about a week after Israel allegedly attacked the same military airport last week. The target of that attack was reportedly a supply of long-range missiles. At the time of the report, Israel’s army refused to comment on it.
