Last night (Wednesday), Israeli police and border police forces operated in cooperation with the Jerusalem Municipality in order to locate and arrest rioters in the neighborhood of At-Tur in East Jerusalem, while improving the living conditions of law-abiding citizens.
During the operation, 20 suspects were arrested for participating in riots, a weapon was seized and business licenses were reviewed. Meanwhile, the neighborhood’s infrastructure was improved and safety hazards were repaired, especially on the central streets. In addition, the city’s employees cleared garbage and scrap dumps.

According to the police: “The operation was intended to deal with all those involved in criminal offenses, public disorder and terrorism, while improving the quality of life of law-abiding residents.”
