The demolition of the home of one of the Sarona terrorists was completed early this morning by IDF forces in Yatta. The home was partially demolished over a year ago but the family continued to use the space illegally, prompting the forces to return and complete the demolition.

On Thursday morning, IDF forces completed the demolition of the home of one of the two terrorists who murdered four Israelis at Tel Aviv’s Sarona Market in 2016. The terrorist, Khaled Mohammed Mahmra, lived in Yatta, which is a Palestinian city near Hebron.

The IDF had already partially demolished the home but the terrorist’s family continued to use a room that was not completely destroyed. When the IDF found out that the family was illegally using the space, the forces returned and demolished it.

Last month, JOL News reported that the Tel Aviv District Court handed down convictions to the three terrorists responsible for the Sarona shooting attack. Muhammad and his cousin Khaled Muhamra were unanimously convicted of four counts of murder, 41 counts of attempted murder and conspiracy to commit a crime. Even though he did not participate in the shooting, the third terrorist, Yunis Zin, was convicted of conspiracy to commit a crime and the same counts of murder and attempted murder.
