US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley has sent thank-you notes to representatives of countries that did not vote for the resolution against the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital at Thursday’s General Assembly meeting.

In an email obtained by Fox News, Haley invited those 65 countries to “a reception to thank you for your friendship to the United States.”

In a tweet following the vote, Haley posted a picture of the 65 countries that opposed or abstained from the resolution and wrote, “We appreciate these countries for not falling to the irresponsible ways of the UN.”
